Imperial Logistics is an integrated logistics service provider with a diversified portfolio of services. It operates in Africa and Europe, and specialises in the automotive, chemicals, consumer, industrial and healthcare sectors.
In the automotive sector, around 3,500 employees are engaged in production supplies and internal factory logistics for big carmakers at 19 locations in five countries.

At JadeWeserPort, Imperial Automotive Logistics GmbH operates the new packaging centre for the Volkswagen Group. The centre supplies around 7000 different components to 30 factories in 13 countries run by Audi, Volkswagen and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. When running at full capacity, the packaging centre can handle around 3.2 million packages a year, which are loaded into around 11,000 40‘ high cube containers for transport by sea.

Spedition Grüßing is an innovative, medium-sized, family-run forwarding company that is meanwhile managed by the fifth generation. It can look back on almost 100 years of experience in the transport, logistics and warehousing business.

The company’s core business is the organisation and transport of full, part and groupage consignments to destinations throughout Germany and neighbouring European countries. We handle these transports either with our own fleet of state-of-the-art trucks or with vehicles owned by our partner companies.

At our 8,000 m² warehouse and 10,000 m² outdoor storage area, we attend to the transhipment, warehousing and order picking of highly diverse freight categories, working as contract logistics provider on behalf of our customers. Niedersachsen Ports is the port management company for Lower Saxony (or “Niedersachsen” in German) and operates the public port infrastructure at the seaports of Lower Saxony. In addition to the major seaports of Brake, Cuxhaven, Emden, Stade and Wilhelmshaven, it is also responsible for seven island supply ports and one regional port.

The NORDFROST Seaport Terminal offers logistics services for all kind of goods, from food stuffs to project logistics. It is situated directly next to the facilities of the Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven (CTW) and is also connected to the pan-European distribution network of NORDFROST for fast distribution of goods, incorporating a total of 40 NORDFROST deepfreeze logistics centres throughout Germany.

State-of-the-art storage capacities for frozen, fresh and dry goods are offered at the NORDFROST Seaport Terminal. Four public inspectorate offices are also present directly in the building (Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture, JadeWeser Office of Veterinary Medicine, Federal Office for Agriculture and Food, Lower Saxony State Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety). With regards to fresh fruit, we offer customers services in conceptual and operational QM as well as ultra-modern acclimatised chambers where temperature and humidity are narrowly controlled and the air is regularly circulated and replaced as necessary.

Our individual one-stop-shop logistics concepts for container and general cargo encompassing the international supply chain include sea freight bookings, pre- and on-carriage and any requested value-added services as needed. Outstanding tri-modal transport links keep distances short, processes fast and effective, and goods availability high.

Our project logistics services also comprise entire supply chain management, including temporary storage and the packing of machinery and machine components for sea transport in Wilhelmshaven. To secure fast and precise solutions, we produce the packaging materials in-house.

Our container depot for the storage of full and empty containers is available for your use directly in the port. Our service also includes the washing, repairing (including reefer PTI), gassing and degassing of containers as well as weighing (VGM).
