Port fees at JadeWeserPort Wilhelmshaven remain stable in 2020

The Supervisory Board of JadeWeserPort Realisierungs GmbH & Co. KG decided at its meeting today that the current port fees of Germany’s only deep water container terminal, JadeWeserPort Wilhelmshaven, will not be raised. The Board is responding to the current tense situation in the seaport business sector caused by low growth levels, trade conflicts between the US and China and changes in the automotive industry.

Mr. Holger Banik, CEO of JadeWeserPort Realisierungs GmbH & Co. KG and Niedersachsen Ports GmbH & Co. KG said: “With the constant port fees we are setting an example and indicating our support to the national and international maritime industry. Compared with traditional ports, the fees charged by JadeWeserPort Wilhelmshaven are still at a very low level. “
