Niedersachsen Ports is the port management company for Lower Saxony (or “Niedersachsen” in German) and operates the public port infrastructure at the seaports of Lower Saxony. In addition to the major seaports of Brake, Cuxhaven, Emden, Stade and Wilhelmshaven, it is also responsible for seven island supply ports and one regional port.

The company provides a wide range of services on behalf of the port industry and the government of Lower Saxony. Targeted investments in the development of the individual port locations ensure a continuous increase in the capacities at sea and on shore.

The ports provide the basis for highly diverse business activities. Each port has its own strong points and together, they make up the port system for Lower Saxony. The ports are the bridge between seaborne and land transport modes and are thus vital links in the international logistics chain.
